Since I was diagnosed with heart arrhythmia recently I had to quit my job as a welder. But because I still have a passion for welding, I decided to share my experience in that field with everyone through this blog.
The main focus of my work is mostly to help out beginners, hobbyists and first time DIYers sharing tips, tricks, guides and advice before buying equipment. Obviously, I can’t cover everything, but even if you get 1% smarter or more-informed on the topic after reading this blog, then it’s a win for me.
Why should you take my advice?
I know there are thousands of so-called “gurus” out there in various industries, but you can take my word for it – I’m not one of them! I may not be the best welder (nor writer) in the world, but I have been a welder myself for a few years and I’ve learned a lot along the way. I’ve also learned a lot through osmosis – as my father worked as a welder for almost 40 years. You can say I grew up in the trade.
The things I am going to teach and recommend are not just based on academic knowledge, but based on what I learn from other welders and what I find out doing deep research. I then combine the experience of others, my in-depth research, and my own personal experience to inform the articles you read on this site. I hope you find them helpful.
